Matija Rozman graduated in stage acting at the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television, University of Ljubljana. He has been a member of the SNT Drama Ljubljana resident ensemble since 1989 and has created numerous roles of classical and contemporary repertoires. He performs with ease in all genres, but his interpretation of extraordinary, melancholy, dark or comic dramatic characters are particularly noteworthy. In 1992, he received the Župančič Award of the City of Ljubljana. He is also active in films and involved in playing music. He appeared as a bass-guitar player in D Drams impromptu music group on the occasion of the 2017/2018 repertoire presentation.
