Nina Ivanišin graduated in stage acting in the class of Professors Mile Korun and Matjaž Zupančič. After graduation she joined the Celje City Theatre ensemble. She has been a member of the SNT Drama Ljubljana resident ensemble since 2009 and has, in merely a decade of intense artistic work, created many diverse and outstanding performances. She is a leading lady and a recipient of numerous accolades, including the Prešeren Fund Award, the Borštnik Award and several film awards. In the process of creating a character she abandons herself in the director’s poetics, but nonetheless preserves her unique creative expression. She is intensely involved in theatre also outside the SNT Drama Ljubljana,  for a fee and also on a voluntary basis. She enjoys exploring new forms of acting and various theatrical forms. In addition to being a performer, she also likes to undertake other tasks. She comforts her curiosity in cooperation with Zavod 0.1, appears in films and is involved in diverse television projects. At the SNT Drama Ljubljana she is increasingly interested in the type of creative work as facilitated and produced by the Drama Lab and the Young Drama, led by Špela Šinigoj.
