On the second Sunday in April, the Drama Main Stage will be taken over by the internationally acclaimed group Amala under the direction of composer and multi-instrumentalist Imer Brizani. They will present a unique new Roma music, which could in musicology terms be called Roma symphonic ethno jazz. The seemingly incompatible elements in Imer Brizani’s music manage to preserve their identity and expression, despite their fusion, and create a mutual one-off music synergy which might be simply called the music of Imer Traja Brizani.
