The Bossa de Novo group returns to the Drama Ljubljana with a new album, entitled Twist which is also the title of a song, composed by Mitja Vrhovnik Smrekar, featuring the lyrics by the Slovenian poet and author Milan Kleč. The new Bossa de Novo album comprises several novelties, such as a handful of lesser-known Brazilian songs, as well as Slovenian songs, some new translations of familiar French, Brazilian and American songs, one piece of the Bosnian music classics, some examples from the stock of French and Scottish music history, and some dialect Slovenian touches. All will be presented in diverse music forms on the Main Stage of the SNT Drama Ljubljana in brand new arrangements, reflecting a slightly refreshed sound of the Bossa de Novo group.

The soundscape of the concert will be tinged by a subtle electric guitar played by Mitja Vrhovnik Smrekar, and by brilliant melodic renditions by the brass instruments soloist master Tomaž Gajšt.
