Theatre and travelogue presentation – Faust in Mexico

In October, Goethe’s Faust, directed by Tomaž Pandur is setting off to Mexico to the 43rd Festival Internacional Cervantino, the most important international artistic and cultural event in Latin America.

Although the story of Faust is based on the medieval legend about a man who sells his soul to the devil, it actually expresses the feeling of alienation of modern man and his need to understand himself and the world in the wider context of the universe.

Vesna Milek will talk to the artists about their Mexican experiences, the impressions and response of the audience, the yet another confrontation of Tomaž Pandur with one of the Europe’s largest myths, and the upcoming premiere of Faust on the Main Stage of SNT Drama Ljubljana.

We invite you to experience a theatre and travelogue adventure on Tuesday, 27 October, at 11.00 on the Main Stage of SNT Drama Ljubljana. Free tickets are available at the Drama box office.
