SNT Drama Ljubljana and the French Cultural Institute in Slovenia are proud to host Professor Emeritus Michel Arrivé (University of Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense), a leading authority on Alfred Jarry. Professor Arrivé who has authored several books on Jarry, grammar and linguistics is currently working on the history of linguistics in the 20th century and on a relationship between language and the subconscious. Many of his books have been translated into foreign languages. Hear Professor Emeritus Arrivé in conversation with Professor Primož Vitez (Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana), the author of a new Slovenian translation of Ubu the King. The talk will be simultaneously interpreted by Boštjan Zupančič.

The event, organized by SNT Drama Ljubljana and the French Cultural Institute in Slovenia will take place on Saturday, 13 February at 17.30 on our Main Stage. It will be followed by Ubu the King with French surtitles. Tickets for the pre-show talk are available at the box office (2€). Admission to the talk is included in the ticket for Ubu the King performance on 13 February. No admission fee to the talk for Drama Club Members.
